Google Cloud Next 2025: AI, agents, and the new digital infrastructure

EAGLE BS attended the Partner Summit on April 8 and Google Cloud Next 2025 from April 9–11 in Las Vegas. Several intense days of content, demos, and networking made one shift clear: AI is moving beyond an isolated feature and becoming a layer of enterprise infrastructure.

EAGLE BS attended the Partner Summit and Google Cloud Next 2025 in Las Vegas.

Google Cloud Next is Google Cloud's flagship annual gathering for customers, developers, and partners. In 2025, its program brought together hundreds of sessions and announcements spanning infrastructure, data, security, collaboration, and artificial intelligence.

As a company active in the Google Cloud ecosystem, EAGLE BS also joined the Partner Summit program. Our aim was to understand new directions first-hand, engage with the ecosystem, and translate technical possibilities into dependable client solutions.

What stood out to us

Agents are becoming a layer of work
Agentspace demonstrated an experience connecting enterprise information, search, and specialized agents. The product has since evolved within Google's portfolio, but the direction remains: agents locate context, perform steps, and collaborate with people under enterprise controls.

Gemini 2.5 raised the reasoning bar
Results presented for the Gemini 2.5 family signaled gains in reasoning, coding, and long context. Benchmarks matter, but our practical assessment combines quality, latency, cost, governance, and performance in the customer's own domain.

Data and AI need one architecture
Models create value when they can access correct, governed, current data. Google Cloud's data, search, analytics, and AI services are moving toward reducing the distance between enterprise information and intelligent applications.

Agent ecosystems need interoperability
The Agent2Agent Protocol announcement and the Agent Development Kit signaled an enterprise future with multiple agents, tools, and vendors. Open standards and observability will be crucial to avoid a new generation of technology islands.

Security remains cross-cutting
Identity, data protection, access control, isolation, traceability, and response evaluation must span the full AI lifecycle—from data to model and from agent to executed action.

Partners shorten the path from announcement to production
The Partner Summit reinforced that new technology requires discovery, architecture, integration, change management, and operations. EAGLE BS combines platform knowledge, engineering execution, and business context.

From trend to essential infrastructure

Seeing these capabilities live reinforced one view: AI is no longer only a trend or experimental interface. It is starting to form the infrastructure through which people find knowledge, build software, analyze data, serve customers, and coordinate processes.

That transition increases responsibility. A proof of concept can emerge in days, but operating at scale requires security, data quality, evaluation, action boundaries, cost management, observability, and an experience that keeps people in control.

Why Google's foundation matters

Google has built distinctive experience organizing information at scale and representing the physical world through maps, imagery, and geolocation. Combined with AI research, cloud infrastructure, and productivity tools, that foundation creates important conditions for applications connecting knowledge, context, and action.

This does not make every technology automatically right for every problem. Advantage appears when capabilities are selected deliberately, evaluated in real context, and integrated with existing processes, people, and systems.

What we bring back to clients

We returned from Next with deeper technical perspective, stronger connections, and more precise questions for projects: where can an agent truly reduce friction? Which data may it access? What evidence defines a trustworthy answer? Which actions require human approval? How will value and risk be measured after release?

Our job is to turn those questions into architecture and delivery. EAGLE BS combines Google Cloud, software engineering, data, AI, and security to build solutions that are useful now and prepared for the platform's rapid evolution.
